Meng Represents No. 3 Men’s Track & Field at NEICAAA Indoor Championships

BOSTON, Mass. -- No. 3 MIT men's track & field sophomore Anthony Meng (Scottsdale, Ariz.) tied for fourth in the High Jump at the NEICAAA Indoor Championships on Friday afternoon at the Reggie Lewis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • Meng tied with six other competitors, earning 2.5 points in the teams standings by clearing 1.96m (6'5"). 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

  • Meng entered the day ranked eleventh in Division III in the high jump thanks to his mark of 2.05m at the Suffolk Relays on January 11th. He remains in a tie for eleventh with nine other competitors as of Friday evening.

NEXT UP:

  • MIT returns to the Reggie Lewis Center for day two of the NEICAAA Championships on Saturday. The team will also compete Saturday at the Tufts Last Chance Meet.
