CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The No. 13 MIT squash team hosted the University of Chicago on Friday night at the Zesiger Center Squash Courts where the Engineers prevailed with a 9-0 win as MIT did not drop a set in the match. 
 
THE BASICS:  

• Score: MIT 9, UChicago 0 
• Records: MIT 9-3 

HOW IT HAPPENED:  

• Isaac Torchinsky-Field took down Nathan Reiser in the fourth ladder, 11-3, 11-4, 11-3. 
• Mero Elmarassy grabbed a 3-0 win in the second position with a 12-10, 11-4, 11-5 over Noah George. 
• Zachary Starr and Sean-Winston Luo also claimed sweeps in positions five and seven. 
• Ethan Chan won in the top ladder, 3-0, over Winston Park while Rishabh Sharma was up 2-0 in the third ladder before his opponent retired.  
• Mitav Nayak and Zane Kohn held down positions eight and nine with 3-0 sweeps. 
• Eddie Xue took down Richard Lau, 11-0, 11-1, 11-2 in the sixth position.

• The Engineers are scheduled to head to No. 12 Williams for a 2:00 PM match on Sunday, January 25.
