San Diego, Calif. - Six members of the MIT sailing team have been honored by the Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) as the conference has released its 2025-26 All-Academic Team.
The ICSA All-Academic Sailing Team recognizes Juniors and Seniors who have participated as a competitor or alternate in seven regattas and have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
MIT Honorees:
Barry and Escandon notched their second All-Academic award.
The Engineers will be competing at both the Women's and Open Fleet Race National Championships this week in Tampa, Fla. Action begins on Thursday, May 15 with the Women's Fleet Race and the Open Fleet Race begins on Tuesday, May 19.
