CAMBRIDGE, Mass.  – Eleanor Yang of the MIT rifle team was named the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference Smallbore Athlete of the Week for the week ending November 16. This is the second weekly honor of her career as she earned Air Rifle Athlete of the Week accolades last season.
 
Yang shot a season best of 565 on Sunday against John Jay College. Her performance helped the Engineers to a season-high score of 4,449 against the Bloodhounds and moved her to fifth overall in conference smallbore individual average.
 
MIT returns to action on Saturday, February 7 when it hosts Norwich University at 9:00 AM and University of Akron at 1:15 PM.
